Tameira Hollander Nearly Killed My Wife*

My name is John Bailey and the statement above is something I truly believe; it's my opinion, based on a good deal of evidence and my observations as my wife's medical emergency played itself out. I don't think that Tameira Hollander intentionally tried to kill my wife, Barbara, in fact that there is some evidence to the contrary; however, based on the way my wife was treated, I don't believe Ms. Hollander has much concern for her patients.

After all that Tammy Hollander and the Arapahoe Internal Medicine flunkies have put us through, I am continually amazed by chutzpa that these people continue to exhibit. Since they refused to discuss our very real issues and complaints, we decided to posted our true story in various places online. One of those places is a website called CreditSuit.org.

Lies, Deceit and Theft of Medical Records

Believe it or not, doctors and other medical professionals can misrepresent themselves and access your records, even after you have explicitly told them not to do so. Worse yet, there's not an agency of government that has the balls to do anything to punish such theft!

In this case, within an hour after I fired her, on Thursday, August 3rd, 2006, Dr. Tameira Hollander called the hospital doctor who was treating my wife. According to him (and I have no reason to doubt his word), Hollander represented herself as being Barbara's primary care physician; at that point, Hollander knew very well that she was misrepresenting herself because she called almost immediately after she had been notified that we had fired her.

Upon learning of Hollander's lie, when I arrived at the hospital within minutes of Hollander's call, I was outraged. I called The Arapahoe Internal Medicine office to complain on the next business day. I followed that up with a strongly worded letter. When I received no response to my letter, I called Shirley Lewis, the Arapahoe Internal Medicine Office Administrator, several days later. I first who from Arapahoe Internal Medicine had called my wife's doctor after I'd fired them, Shirley Lewis lied. She initially denied that any such call had been placed, period. But Shirley soon started telling a very different story. Once she saw that I didn't buy her lie, Shirley told me that Hollander and Arapahoe Internal Medicine had every right to request any records that the hospital had for Barbara up to the time that Arapahoe Internal Medicine had been fired. (Audio: Shirley Lewis Lies) The bottom line was that Shirley Lewis and Arapahoe Internal Medicine absolutely refused to accept our wishes; basically, Shirley said that they wanted the records and, by God, they were going to get them, regardless of our wishes.
